    I've had occaisional issues with both, as have my friends. I think my AMD driver issues are more the fault of the fact they're put out through HP. My NVIDIA card was a 6600LE, so it was pretty old. My friends who've had issues had a 9800GTX+ and a 5570.

    GTA 4 runs like shit on most setups, it's not a great port. My laptop's GPU should be a bit slower than OP's (6770M 1GB). Even at 1366x768 GTA 4 runs like shit with an i7 2630QM (turbos up to ~2.5GHz most of the time in games)
