Shrinking down to 22 nm and less, it seems the performance gains level off a bit. The challenge seems to be more about efficiency and cooling as we see smaller and smaller transistors.
Looks pretty good. I haven't really played Civ V outside of one of the free Steam weekends. It just didn't feel right to me. I heard G&K improved A.I. and added much needed features, though.
Still, it's a shame they left out things like religion and espionage in the base game. Basically fits in...
The Steam client is always so sluggish for me. I have no idea why - my PC is fine and other programs run and work without a hitch. But Steam just moves at a snail's pace when I launch it.
