I have an old joystick for the computer, i just found it, but don't know where the driver disk is, anything i can do to

Go to www.google.com type in <exact name of joystick> drivers. Then look around and see if you can't find any that way. That's what I usually do to find old drivers.

Has anyone here got a geforce 2 mx and an abit kt7a (or kt133) running 4x AGP?

Another one of my friends has the GTS version of the Gladiac, and doesn't have any problems, so actually it's probably a small fault in either the card or the mobo, but if the 3-4 fps don't bother, I wouldn't worry about it.

Who cannot sleep??

I got a D in math in 5th grade, and I got a D in pre-calc last year, in grade 11. Not taking any math next year, should do good in school.

Read the dictionary...however boring...really boring...very boring it may be, it would help. If you don't like the dictionary, you could read a thesourus (excuse my spelling), that would help you realate new words to words you already know...also very very boring. Or you could also just read...

System Requirements: 1Gig RAM!!

I make maps for Counter-Strike, and the compiler I use, in theory would require about 512 MB or RAM...depending. The reason being is that for various processes everything goes through the RAM. After it rounds out of RAM it goes to the Windows swap file...needless to say, that takes forever...

Strange message. I work at an ISP, and no one's called up with that virus, or anyother viruses lately... Anyway, was your virus protection software able to kill it? If I hear anything about it, I'll let you know.

Sound problem. Only happens in game menus...

Probably should invest in a new sound card...that's the onboard sound chipset for the Gigabyte boards, right? The onboard sound may be causeing the problem too, I use onboard sound, and occasionally have sound problems. I'd recommend a good Soundblaster Live card. You probably won't run into...

Magnetic suspension for CDs, or in a vaccum...no comment. If you can't put up with that slight noise you have a very serious problem. If it's making that much noise anyway, the device is probably failing. Asus makes some nice quiet CD/DVD roms. Haha...a vaccum...you know how big the device...

Question on case fans and venting

They are definetly lieing. I think they're just tring to get you to go with their probably more expensive solution. On my computer, I use a Sunon 80mm fan on the bottom of my case blowing upwards, and anotherone in the back blowing out. I have a cooler bay bay sitting at the 2nd to top 5 1/4...

AMD stock

Don't worry wait a while, it will go back up once the P4 is realized as a horrible processor. That will cause more people to buy AMD processors making the stock go up. I wouldn't worry. They're releasing their new processor sometime early next year too.

How smart are TechED Teachers at High Schools?

I have this teacher that was explaining how out of date the computers in the current lab we were in are. He proceeds to say that most computers now-a-days will be about 400-500MHz, I almost died laughing.

How many bones have you broken? How?

I've just broken my collar bone. It happened when I was 2, my babysitter was giving me a big good bye hug, and he broke my collar bone. It's really a pretty good statistic considering I've been in 3 car wrecks, and 1 helicopter crash. None of them my fault.

Ya, back when Bush was first nominated to run like a year ago, someone reported on it, and no one made a big deal out of it back then. If no one made a big deal about it then, I don't see why it should cause such a big deal now, plus the fact it was 25 years ago.

What was a GREAT movie to you, but everybody else hated?

Office Space was awesome. All of my friends liked it, I don't know why it was even thought of as a bad movie. That last one, the Three Amigos, that's another funny movie. I haven't seen it in a long time, but now I was to go and watch it.

Should Sega give the Dreamcast the DVD Option?

I think the Dreamcast uses DVD type disks for its games. I think to play movies Sega just needs to add a decoder, and all that would be needed would be something like that put on to a memory card type thing. I could be wrong though, so don't quote me.

Poll: Athlon 700 Mhz VS PIII 733 Mhz

I would definately go with the Athlon. DFI is a very bad motherboard manufacturer. The MSI board is a decent board, it's what I have, and it's fine if you don't want to overclock. But I wouldn't attempt overclocking on the DFI board, it'd probably burn out.

The only time I'll read anything on the john is if I'm in the middle of reading something. If I'm doing my homework, and I've got quite a bit to do, I'll sometimes do that too. I have not played my sax on the john yet though.

NEED ADVICE: should I keep my computer on 24/7 or no? and why?

If you have decent cooling you won't have to worry about component damage. And if you're cracking RC5 or OGR I recommend keeping it on, just to crack. With RC5 or OGR you can tell if you have heating problems, because you will begin to get "the blue screen of death" and unknown...
