Did I kill my computer?

The fans do not turn when I power up. That said, when I did the "paper clip test" on my PSU, the fan on it did turn. Does that rule out it being bad?

$1500 for a gaming rig but I don't wanna build it

Thanks for the tip. I said that I want to play BF3 on max settings, but I was being semi tongue in cheek. I just want the best overall gaming rig I can get for that pricepoint. if there's not a ton of difference between spending say, $1200 and $1500, I'd rather pocket the money.

Resolution is 1920 x 1080. As far as max settings go, I just mean I want to turn on all the bells and whistles (anti-aliasting, etc) as high as they can go while still getting 40 FPS or better.

RAID 0 - data recovery?

I'm not quite sure how to do that. Never run a Memtest86 before. Any advice on how to go about doing that would be much appreciated. Also, I don't see anything in the BIOS that references RAID at all. Also, I forgot to mention this, but during post, I got a "system battery voltage is low"...

RAID 0 - data recovery?

Hmmm....is there such a thing as a raid external drive enclosure? Am wondering if there's a way to connect them that way to another computer so we can pull the data off. I tried different memory but then I got a "memory read/write" error in the post operation and it wouldn't boot at all.

Why would i want a bluetooth enabled netbook?

It appears to be a 4 pin +12V on the mobo. The only cable from the power supply is indeed a 4+4. I just plugged in one of them. Is the 6+2 you're talking about the PCI-E plug?
