I'm shopping around for an AMD laptop and from what I can tell almost all of them are throttled down to 15W. Info on TDP can be difficult to come by. From what I can tell Lenovo had a 35W model but that info comes from forum posts that are nearly one year old.

Well yeah, maybe I'm being unclear. I want Cool n Quiet to remain on because I have my fan speeds turned down for silent running. When CnQ turns off and all cores run at 100% my cpu runs hot and the fans end up turning on loudly.

Noob question I guess. Whenever I overclock the CPU it turns off Cool n Quiet and all four cores run at full speed at all times, creating a lot of unnecessary heat and power usage. Is there something I'm missing here?

It depends on whether of not Microsoft Silverlight decides to support gpu acceleration on Brazos 2.0. They did not on 1.0, so HD Netflix was unwatchable. But other apps like Flash did support it and 1080p video played just fine.
Anyone know of this thing will support 1080p Netflix? Brazos lacked gpu support in Silverlight and the CPU was too weak to play that format smoothly. I really hope so... I wont buy one unless it does.

I said it was a Turion X2 Neo 1.6 ghz. Not sure of the model number right now because I don't have it with me.
I just want to know if it will be an upgrade for my current 13" slim HP notebook. AMD Turion X2 Neo 1.6ghz, discreet Radeon HD 4330 w/cruddy DDR2 ram (vRAM). The thing is pokey and runs really hot.... and isn't terribly battery friendly.

Anand just put up another Llano review the other day, even as Trinity is nearly upon us. Not sure why that's review-worthy and Brazos 2.0 isnt.
When Llano was brand new there were driver issues. I wonder if that's a factor holding Trinity back at all right now.
