IE 5.5 weirdness!!

<< Sounds more like a DSL problem - specifically, like what happens when PPPoE software goes looking for a DHCP server to assign it an IP - in your network settings, look for the TCP-IP that's bound to whatever you use for DSL and make sure it doesn't have "Obtain IP address automatically"...

IE 5.5 weirdness!!

I use Window Washer 4.0 on an almost daily basis, so the cache is not it, but thanks ofr replying!:D Also, I HATE IE6! I have XP on another system and it just does all kinds of stuff I don't like. Ended up uninstalling it and putting IE5.5 on it. :disgust:

Computer freeze!!

Just installed DSL, and now the puter freezes for no reason while scrolling. Is this a Windows 95 problem, or is there some driver I need to update?? TIA

My cookie is crumbling! Help!

:frown:Not running any security except for the Norton firewall, and Hack Tracer; but I've been usibg them for quite awhile now, so I can't see them as being the problem. Tried refreshing everything on IE 5, and still no go on the problem sites. All others are good to go. Not using any blockers...

Who sells Transcend MOBO's?? Looking for TS-ASL3

Does any one know where I can find Transcend mobo's? I have read some great reviews about the TS-ASL3, but I can't seem to find it on the net. Pricewatch has it listed at computersdirect.com, but they have such a lousy reseller rating, that I don't dare :disgust: Thanks for the help!! :cool...

How do I set up 2nd HD for dual boot???

O.K, I've got windows 95 on one hard drive,(30.7gb Maxtor) and I want to load windows 3.1 onto the slave hard drive(1gb Maxtor). The 1gb hd already has win95 on it(used to be my master), so my question is, would it be best to reformat the 1gb and then install win3.1, or is there...

Changing the FSB: Where and How???

Eric... Thanks for the site! Very Cool :) I forgot to mention that on my board there is a jumper call T75. It just must mean 75mhz! ( I am an idiot!) It also has a setting called RSV. Got any idea? I'm going to try adjusting the voltage (I have it on auto right now) and see if that helps. Can't...

Changing the FSB: Where and How???

:|I've got an IWILL P55XB2 w/ 166MMX and Award bios. Am able to increase cpu setting and voltage, but how do I change the FSB?? Tried using SOFTFSB, but it doesn't recognize this board :( I've gotten it up to 188mhz, but it won't go any further, yet I know it can go to at least 233mhz...
