Nice deal. Picked up a open box for $269.99, got to the register and was given another 10% off so ~$250 out the door. Subtract the rebates and final cost is $100. There was one more open box at the Maplewood, MN Best Buy as of about 6pm yesterday.

Is it possible to split CAT5 signal 2 directions?

Some companies do this to reduce cabling costs ... not too much anymore. Anyone who knows anything about networking will tell you that this is a big no-no. Don't be cheap, spend that extra 10 bucks and string another cable -- why introduce interference if you don't need to?

This isn't a breech of contract unless there is a provision in the contract you signed that specifically says WorldCom is liable to send you a bill on time every month. They probably have your address screwed up, or something like that. You should have contacted them as soon as you realized...
