People at this forum, have installed ubuntu with no problems, most people actual did a dual boot with XP & Ubuntu. I have not tried it myself, also they install ubuntu from a usb flash drive.

Keeping getting the BSOD.

Thanks for the help, I checked ECS's website, but I couldnt find a sm bus patch for vista. Is there a place I could download a universal sm bus patch for Vista from? Thanks again.

Still not yet, my last 2 digits are 12, also i think if you filed your taxes late but before April 15 it might affect when you get the stimulus check, but I hope not.

That sucks, what position at Best Buy? The Geek Squad, Double Agent position pays decent, but only at bigger Best Buys though, not at some of the smallers ones they are building lately. Interviews suck in general, my friend can ace any interview, even for a job he has no experience for.

zap is correct, it would be very easy for somebody to steal your computer, especially if you are using a x-qpack, unless you locked it up with one of the security cables, in which you x-pqack would be secured to your computer desk. something like this. http://www.kensington.com/html/1427.html

bicen, the pc-61 is a really nice case, all lian li cases are nice, but if you are looking for a small case with character, get a x-qpack, you will not regret it.

Anyone with long-term impressions of the Aspire X-Qpack?

to me the psu fan is really quiet, ive had the case around a month. The system in general is really quiet. My msi 6800gt agp is what makes my system really noisy. Also I got my case from newegg and it was damaged a little bit, nothing really noticeable. if you live in SoCal, and close to walnut...

Who makes a better motherboard out of these 3 manufacturers?
