The PSU I have is the Corsair HX750i. PSU was mentioned a few times and when I look back, it's probably just as likely or more likely given the information. It's definitely next on the list to swap out but time will tell. Right now my system is stable and has been since I swapped the mobo

To clarify, the ram voltage was gradually bumped up from 1.2 to 1.38 over the course of about a year. But 1.2v was used during all testing.

Yes, at 2133mhz. It's actually rated for 2666Mhz so it's already downclocked. I tried downclocking further and increased latency numbers. No difference. Dropping overclock on CPU was the first thing I did. No difference. BIOS is latest. Second thing did. No difference. Removing memory sticks...

I did the inverse of that. Instead of one stick at a time, it was 3 sticks at a time. Each memory stick took turns being "out". Then a memtest was ran for hours during each combination. Every combination was stable except when 4 sticks of ram was used.

Higher refresh rate than possible with DVI-D

At the time of my post I used my eyeballs to verify. Then I later used testufo.com to verify again with real numbers. It appears to be detecting 30,50,60Hz as I change my monitor's refresh rate.

I don't know any way of doing it but I personally would use my programming background to solve this kind of problem. It's simple enough that almost any programmer can slap something together in 30 minutes that does the job. Some linux guru's might even be able to come up with a simple script...

Well...I cant really recommend anything else because I don't know what USB devices you have. It is a perfectly fine motherboard but just doesnt work for me because I have too many USB devices. Not enough rear panel USB devices is the only reason that it wouldnt work for me. You just gotta ask...

Wow that's a big drop in motherboard pricing! but as long as it has what you need and you are happy with it then it looks good to me. I would of picked one with more USB ports in the back but that's just me. That board also has overclocking presets which should make things even easier for you...

3GB is enough for currents games?

I am regularly hitting 3GB of total system usage while running one game. However, I also regularly swap between opened apps or have browser windows opened which usually brings me to about 3.5 - 4.5GB. So to answer your question, 3GB is enough if you have one game opened and no other programs...

Yes it will work. But as everyone else has stated, just get a pair of 2Gb sticks and throw out your old ram. You might be able to find 4GB kit for $40 if you look hard enough. That's only $10 more than a 2GB kit

I've never used the "supported memory modules" list. It is just a list of memory modules that a company has tested first hand. I've never came across a memory module that did not work with a motherboard as long as is the correct memory type (DDR, DDR2, DDR3)
