how do I disable internall sounds?

1.) go to the bios -> hit del when the computer starts and counting the memory 2.) go into either one of the page and you'll see "Audio ac70" and "Legacy sound" -> disabled both of them. 3.) there you go :)

consider price and quality, I personally go for Ricoh. If price is not a factor, Kodak and Sony for sure.

Upgrade advice needed

I would get the epox 8k7a+ with 1.4 Athlon plus 2x256 ddr pc2100 ram from www.crucial.com (which they have 15% discount until end of October on top of their good price). ;)

ECC with non-ECC ram on Asus P4T?

honestly, you can't really tell the difference b/w ecc and non ecc, however, since the price for them are the same in crucial.com, mind as well get the ecc ones for the sake of the future uses since you can disabled the ecc function in the bios. Hope that helps.

but the 103b driver won't even let me install win2k though, do I install win2k with 1.20 first and then reinstall the driver to 1.03b after I installed the win2k?
