In the BIOS, I’m using XMP 2.0 profile 1 which is DDR4-3600 16-19-19-39 1.35V. If I leave the infinity fabric freq setting at auto, CPU-Z reports my NB freq at 899.8 MHz and DRAM freq at 1799.6 MHz. The BIOS description for the FLCK is that when set to auto FLCK will equal MCLK. So shouldn’t...

Unable To Enable AHCI

Thanks VirtualLarry, running the SSD with SATA RAID/AHCI Mode set to RAID and Onboard SATA/IDE Ctrl Mode set to AHCI. Will complete a fresh install in a couple weeks and see what happens then. This issue is just bugging me and won't stop nagging me till I put it down.

well thanks for the help guys. since i eliminated the hardware, went ahead and completed a fresh win 7 install. needed one anyway and will have a more current image to work with. lan is working without issues.

not giving up, just at a road block and trying to figure the issue out. shouldn't the leds indicate that the mobo lan ports were having an issue? this board has been awesome, from my 2008 build.

PROBLEM. Surfing the net is frequently painfully slow. Webpage loading will stall for seconds to minutes before resuming again. Complex pages will not fully load (e.g. nfl.com and weather.com). The issue is a little different depending on the browser. Firefox and Chrome exhibit the issues...

Thanks for the response mikeymikec, but from both gpu's at the same time? The issue is occurring regardless of gpu. Its occurring in a configuration of both and only one gpu. I've swapped them out while only running one with no change. The issue is occurring before and after the driver...

Sorry about that guys. My sig was turned off. Specs are below. This was a build from the summer of 2008. This issue just started Sunday. GPUs not in crossfire because I have three monitors. Haven't hardly gamed since upgrading to three monitors, so wasn't a big deal to drop out of crossfire...

I have various success booting up my desktop pc. Most of the time it will self reboot at the bios slash screen or during the memory test. When it does this reboot the screen remains black and does not attempt to post. Occasionally when I can get the OS to load it will freeze at the login screen...

Thanks for the input guys. VirtualLarry, I already tried that. UPS has been eliminated as the culprit. Texashiker, I checked the connections there already. I'll check the cable and ground block next.
