    This is the first game to max out my two 7970 Vapor-X's in Xfire. I can get everything maxed and slightly turn on one or two of the additional graphics settings @ 2560x1600. Have to say though that the game is damn gorgeous, perhaps the nicest I've ever seen.

    I'd think that, even by HC standards, playing on hard w/ 430k damage and 7.6mm toughness is too conservative. I'd think that even with half of those numbers one's character would be at the point where they should consider expert difficulty, no?

    I never really had a problem with Civ 5's unit mechanics until I ran into this issue. It pissed me off to no end. In certain instances it forces your troops to take damage from the enemy when they could otherwise just avoid it by sitting behind your artillery and only moving forward to protect it.
