Acer Aspire 9410 reboots whenever a desktop program is started

What is best fix for XBox Kinect fan failure?

quikah, the "FOUR" refers to the amount of WIRES connected to the OEM fan, two being voltage supply( + and - Vcc) and the other two MP data sent back to motherboard! I corrected original post so as not to be confusing . . . thanks quikah!

Thanks for reply, I'm scanning with the "Last Chance" option of Active File Recovery checking for disk errors. I've used Ease Us before to recover data but will it fix the dual partition situation?

I think this is the right forum, "Memory and Storage" that is, But I have a 8-9 year old Seagate USB 500GB ext slim drive. It was xfering/playing fine with movies and music stored on it, but now, although it lights up, it is not recognized by my laptop or desktop or a media device (MxqPro)...

I just checked CD\DVD drive and it is Ok! And startup completely ignores the DVD drive upon startup and that is with a DVD having the SAME ISO file as what was put on the Rufus boot memstick!! Thanks boomerang i will look for that BIOS 1.30 update ISO first and then the Youtube...

Dell Desktop 620 Power up

Everything went together fine! Come to find out the power supply wasn't upgraded, it had 300w bought a 500w at best buy. The oversized heatsink/cooling was a trick but it went in ok. The SSD drive . . what can I say WOW! I've never seen MSWord load so fast! If i blinked i missed it...
