My 20 month old decided to pound on my keyboard for a while and has messed up my icons.
I have a photo set as my background on the desktop. Before there were no borders around the icons,
all you saw was the picture in the background. Now it shows a colored border and its ANNOYING! lol.

How can I download more than two files at once within IE?
I right click, save as, but it only lets me do it twice and wont start another one
until one finishes.

I have a Kodak CX4300 3.2 mp right now. it takes great pics,
but no optical zoom and only takes 2 AA batteries(gateways take 4),
so my 1800 mah nimhs last like 20 pics max.
Im not an audio expert or anything but I have had this system for about 2 years
and I am very happy with it. And I probably paid close to $400 for it.

I want to burn home movies with my DVD-R drive (Toshiba SD-R5002).
I have a minidv cam, and have captured video onto my computer as AVI files.
So from what I have read the process is:
1. convert AVI to Mpeg2 using TMPGEnc or other program.
2. Burn the dvd using Nero.
Now I dont have the drive...
If I buy a DVD-R drive that will burn at 2x, about how long does it take to burn
an entire DVD? I am planning on making home movies from my minidv camcorder
to DVD.

Carp, I made the order 5 mins before reading this, went to cancel and now it says I cant.
This is BS, they should at least let me cancel. Arrgh, why did techbargains do this to me?
Is the power connector on the 9700 pro a floppy type connection?
If I have an extra floppy conneector on my power supply can I use it
instead of the cable that usully comes with the 9700?
Reason I ask is because newegg is selling refurbs without the cable.
How else could you get it to work?

I just bumped to say, I really love this camera.
What a deal, you cant get this many features
for $500 most of us paid, great deal!
I left everything at defaults. I used TMPGEnc to encode to Mpeg-2 and VCD easy to burn.
Can ou give me a detailed list of tweaked settings? Email me please.

That helped. I made it work, I did a VCD and Svcd but the
quality on both sucked. Just putting it on VHS would be better.
