CUSL / TUSL hard drive problems

^ Any ideas? I'm sitting here with 80GB of storage space that I don't want to use cause it's so slow. I tried a transfer of my mp3's last night - 15.8 GB took 9 hours. DMA is checked....

CUSL / TUSL hard drive problems

I have a CUSL2 right now, and I just got a new 80GB maxtor HDD, ATA100, 7200 RPM's. I also have a 40GB version of the same drive. When I try to transfer stuff to the new 80 GB drive, it is slow as crap! Any deas of why? I know the CUSL2 only has one ATA100 controller, and the new drive is on...

brightness problem with viewsonic monitor

usually my screen is fine as far as brightness is concerned, but when I try to play a game like quake or UT, it would be so dark I could barely see. I just installed Tony Hawk, and it's even worse!! Even for games that aren't supposed to be dark, it's terrible. It's a viewsonic E790 19"...

Need an effective way to get rid of hovering flies =)

take a bath. ;) If they're fruit flies, there must be some garbage or something around the spot. Spray some raid or something around the area. I used to use something called spray-nine, works like a charm.

how often does your internet connection have hiccups?

I can't remember the last time my dsl hiccupped, but coming to this website, you'd think it's hiccupping every 10 seconds or so. Damn this is a slow site.
