PC is making a noise

Thanks and i think my hdd went out. stays on the loading screen or if i hard reset, i get a cursor...and nothing else. going to grab a ssd. now i gotta figure out how to move from one device to the other.. or just say forget it and buy windows and install.. /sigh

tuff choice. i am comparing the 2 side by side and the hp has a new cpu. and the asus has more usb's. maybe i need to see if i can go see them. thanks for the help guys!

thanks for the question! he plays wow mostly. some diablo 3. it more to keep him occupied in the hotels vs hitting the bar. maybe he can do both?! he had a little 14" that finally broke on him so i dont think he needs all the eye candy. thats for his home pc! thanks again!

thanks, did some looking at newegg and the only major thing i could see (besides price) was the feature listed as 2D?3D Converting. from what i can tell that since i have ati cards that and that there is no patch for nvidea cards, this is good for that. also it would seem you can create 3d...

sorry had to do homework first! ati6950's. it more for my ps3. If i had nvidia i would have gone with Acer HN274H but i think the samsung looks nice and i compared at best buy and they look the same. On their compare site, the s27a950d shows to be 120hrz and 3d but the t27a750 doesnt. they...

i suppose i am asking if i decided to buy a computer premade, what the differences besides cost mean. how much better is 6 cores/12 threads vs 4 cores/8 threads? how much is of a difference between i5 2600 vs i7 990 is there, would i even notice? and maybe it this stage not want to put one...
