Help! Can't connect to Newegg!

Help! Can't connect to Newegg!

For some reason, I lost the ability to connect to www.Newegg.com. I can go to any other web site on the internet, but I get the standard "Cannot find server" message for Newegg.com. Very strange. Any ideas what is going on? Is this a sign that I'm spending too much there? I have rebooted, tried...

Thermal paste for AMD XP 1700+

I just got my AMD XP 1700+ (retail) and noticed there is a pink substance on the HSF. I assume that this replaces the thermal paste I was planning to use, correct? Just wanna make sure. There's no mention in the installation instructions of any thermal paste or tape. Thanks

Logitech Z560 $109.96 at DELL.COM

Unbelievable! I ordered these about 2 weeks ago, was told it would ship 12/20/01, shipment came 2 days ago! I must say these speakers are incredible...BIG difference when compared to my freshly retired ACS-48 system. Highly recommended. Can't beat the price.

Advantages of P4 and AMD

I'm trying to decide whether to get a P4 or an AMD XP. I was wondering if there are any specific advantages of one over the other. For example, I have heard that the P4 with new MB's boot much more quickly (It may just be an Intel chipset thing)...is this true? Also, is SSE2 taken advantage of...

Registered or unbuffered DDR?

Need some Crucial DDR...I understand that some MB's allow more RAM to be used if it is registered. Are there any reasons not to get registered DDR? It's only about $5 more...How about ECC vs non-ECC? Thanks, Brian

a VERY VERY straaange problem w/win2k/mobo/ps!!!!!!

Nope, I'm using an ABIT BX6R2, PII @ 500. This same setup was working fine for months, and still works great in Win ME. Only Win 2K that can't use CD-Drives. Wierd.
