In older Crysis low res benchmarks, the difference was clearly visible between mainstream cpu and e-cpu: http://hothardware.com/Reviews/AMD-FX-8350-Vishera-8Core-CPU-Review/?page=8 But these days there are seldom low-res benchmarks for the CPU comparison :(

AMD cpu that is comparable to...

Which CPU to get (can get away with) depends a lot on which GPU you want to use and on which graphical level (resolution, quality, fsaa, etc). If you use a single GPU which costs about $200, cheaper CPU's can be used then when you are using a tri-fire setup for full HD on a 120hz monitor.

They should show the low res CPU benchmarks in the same (line)graphs as the high-res (full hd?) benchmarks of the GPU's. Where the lines of the different CPU's and GPU's cross is about where you should expect your performance to be when you get that combo. Now it's not always easy to track both...

Richland CPUs - Are AMD CPUs the "best bang for the buck"?

Not overclocking with the bus speed. I can set the core multipliers to 3.9 for all cores for my 4770 on H87i instead of the default 3.6. Not a wild overclock and it is only active when on turbo with enough headroom, but still nice enough to get some extra oomph in your computer when needed...

With a H87 bord (and maybe others) you can still overclock the cores to max turbo (even with a non-K chip).

You never take any numbers for granted and now you believe a random marketing quote of 9 hours.... Never have seen any battery numbers that where really usefull in practice. And with that, screen is ofcourse a little bigger, but total CPU power and probably even GPU is way over the A4 1200...

You should translate the review better, it has also 2GB of ram, the "Windows 8" quote just before it, threw you off probably.

But with mobile you don't only use less cpu but can shutdown the screen that much more early.

If you don't have turbo or at least speedstep, you have to find a middle ground for performance, with turbo it can just have low performance and only fire it up (till a certain (bios) constrained max) when needed. And afaik Bay Trail has the most advanced form of turbo / speedstep, it takes...

Check out any gtx660 bench for BF3 MP, it can't even provide that fps pure over clock is showing for the AMD...... Talking about biased.

Absolute freight costs ofcourse far from zero. But per apu (you can load how many thousands in a 40foot container...) Random source for price So that's probably only cents per APU you spend for moving it.
