Remember that the Beta you have been playing is NOT well optimized and the game will run a lot smoother than what it does now, when it finally releases :)
Oh, and all my RAM are showing up fine.
I have run PCmark7 and 3dMark11 and gotten pretty good scores (not as good as I'd like, but it's still a stock system)
I have a feeling that it's something with the HDD, because when playing the Battlefield 3 Beta with my friends who have computers 1-3...
I did try and enable AHCI for my harddrive, but as Matt1970 mentioned, it gave me a BSOD at every boot, it just flashed for half a second so couldn't read what the error code was, but I figured I should leave it at IDE and see if I could solve it. Also I read this on Western Digital's site...
It still takes the computer about 02:30 to be fully functional, by now I only have Skype, Gmail Notifier, CCC, Dropbox and some drivers starting up with Windows.
I've cleaned up my registry a bit, although there's not much to clean on a brand new machine.
Also restricted some programs from starting up with Windows, gonna do a few tests and see if this helps :)
I just timed my bootup and it looks roughly like this:
00:00 - Press Power Button
00:15 - Starting Windows Animation
00:45 - Welcome Screen
00:55 - Desktop visible
01:51 - Skype Starts up, immediately after Skype starts, I loaded up Firefox
02:22 - Firefox is running
I'm also having issues...
Yes, after I had installed windows, I downloaded and installed all the current drivers from ASrock's own website.
I also just tried reinstalling the chipset driver to be sure, but to no avail.
