    CM690 II Adv. vs CM Strom Enforce

    The CM690 has 7 120mm fan mounts. I have 5 installed in mine and it can get loud when stressed. But it cools incredibly well! Even with five fans, with the right MB fan headers (mines a Z68 ASUS), it can run pretty silent. I don't have any experience with the storm.

    Hyper 212+

    Most MB's come with software to adjust fan speed automatically. My ASUS is set to "quiet" mode and still auto OC's to a stable 4.4Ghz at 51c with the 212 evo.

    Putting a 212 evo on my new build. First time using a aftermarket cooler. Do I tighten the screws all the way down, evenly or is there supposed to be some spring showing on top part?? NVM, figured it out. The screws stopped about half-way. lol.

    Ya, I assume your talking about the Arock gen3 board? I had it narrowed down to between the 2.. I read some reviews that the ASUS had a better/easier bios to work with and my current P5B ASUS 775 board has been rock stable for 6 years now. It was hard to cough up the extra $50, though. :'(
