Jagged Edges?

According to the bit i've read, however, it seems that some come equipped with switches which when switched unlock the shaders. As such, I doubt it would cause a warranty issue if swapped back, no?

Hey guys, its a bit early for build questions but im curious as to the whole unlocking 6950 -> 6970 deal. Would this cause any sort of issues due to the limitations on part of the PSU and lack of cooling? Im a bit weary of shortening its life span by running it too hot or overclocking it...

I just dropped the DVD drive and will put in a crappy one I have laying around till I can afford a better one. But it wont be too long till I can afford a $20 drive, quite honestly. So I guess this is what ill end it at. My wallet weeps slowly as my anxiety preps for serious fun.

Yup. I actually ended up saving a bit more than that from a few X's and Y's I was able to change. The price match ItsAlive recommended also worked great. About $25 off. And hmm, I was set on the case for the sheer aesthetics. Oh poor vanity. Would the 1GB I posted be worth the upgrade? I guess...
