Open Case or Closed Case? - EMI / RFI

Did you know that blood has a lot of iron in it? Apparently, iron tends to amplify EMI when it isn't treated and combined with heavy metals. Luckily, lead can isolate iron. Might want to try some lead tablets (with food) to really get rid of all that annoying hissing. I thought I'd be helpful...

Windows 8.1 ethernet causing sleep issues

This is not a Windows 8.1 issue. Certain recent atheros chipsets are buggy. It is a known issue and Qualcomm has yet to make a statement or address the issue.

Could Apple License or Buy ZFS from Oracle?

I doubt that Apple will ever smarten up and "upgrade" their filesystem. Microsoft got smart and made ReFS (though slow adoption). Linux has a ZFS package. But Apple, still fails to understand bit rot and block level file integrity.
