As far as I have heard, the ALUs of Pascal will not be (very) different from Maxwell. What constitutes a new architecture? I doubt Pascal will be faster per SP than Maxwell. It will likely pack much more of them and clock them a bit higher. That and the increased bandwidth to feed them.

So? What is it exactly that you are disagreeing with? The resolution thing? I had my 1080p screen since 2009 I think and it was a blessing to game at almost always 60 fps (vsync with fps limit for reduced input lag). Less than 45-50 fps in SLI/CF is terrible in most games, much to microstuttery...

Clocks. 780 Ti SLI will throttle harder than 290X (Uber) CF. Therefore I always advocate benchmarking fairly default vs default and Uber vs maxed Temp Target respectively.

Nvidia has more input lag than AMD

Isn't there a setting you can change to influence input lag? Prerendered frames was it called iirc. Maybe AMD and NV just have different default values for that.

SLI already uses the PCIe bus. Afaik, the bridge is just for the image transfer. I don't believe for a second that all traffic uses only the bridge.

Nonsense, it is perfectly fine. Most reviews on the web are biased towards AMD in that particular point. They use non-default values for AMD (uber mode) but don't extend the same courtesy to NV (raising power target or at least the temp target). THAT is what I find appalling.
