Great phone. Form factor, keypad, intuitive, battery life, ui speed & USB charging. And it's gotten better. Headphone jack is now standard size. GPS and WiFi are options. Flip is coming. The keypad is a great compromise between T9 and qwerty. I grew to really like it. Going to T9 or an iPhone...

Need help picking MP3 player

Most AC adapters will take 240v. You just need the physical adapter. For example Apple's AC adapters are modular and can be changed with their World Traveler Kit. Of course you can just buy a generic adapter for a couple bucks and use it for everything.

Upgrading a G3 Desktop Mac

The Mini is a much better value, hardware & software. If it doesn't have an AGP slot it not worth upgrading for OS X use. I'd use that machine as a server or an OS 9 box.

That's basically correct, Apple machines just require that the memory has SPD correctly programmed into it. Some cheaper sticks do not. Quality stuff will work. This is a quality control issue.

Reason 2.5 might be the standard for dance music, but your comparision doesn't really make sense. Apple is actually notorious for dropping the prices of Pro-level software and making an inexpensive prosumer version available. For example Logic Express is $299.

Apple doesn't list a specific RPM for the HDs, the Power Mac and iMac pages list RPM. Likely they have a contract for the sizes and take whatever RPM the manf. gives then at that price. Would have been nice for them to explicitly spec faster HDs. http://www.apple.com/macmini/specs.html...
