Good evening all. I have xfinity internet with a CAX80 modem currently. The modem/router combo is garbage and I am done with it. I might be able to pull 1400+ mbps down, but the connection is terrible, the 2.5gbps port randomly disconnects, the modem frequently reboots. It's awful. Anyway...

Question Silly question really about upgrading stuff...

It's always better to do the job the right way the first time around. It might take you 30 minutes longer but can save you an hour headache or two down the line. My vote is to do a fresh install (especially if it's a work machine).

As a former ama-pro CS player and a current player, I can highly suggest leaving it off. Also, run the game at the lowest resolution size, in my case 1280x720. Player models will be the largest and easiest to hit at that point ;)

I went with the Lian Li O11 Dynamic, in white. It came today. I will have pics of the build up when work is done and I can start on it :) It's gonna be nice swapping over to a new EVGA clc 280 (Wish it was a 360), some nice new mag lev fans, my 1tb nvme drive, im excited.

It came out 4 months ago. I haven't used it yet, but I will give it a shot. I'm swapping from the x61 to the evga clc 280 when my lian li case comes in though, so it will be short lived lol.

Question 750 Watts enough for (Single) EVGA GTX 1070 FTW?

Even on a completely overclocked system it's fine. I'm running a very old tx750 corsair psu on a 9900k, rtx 2080 system with everything overclocked to the max with zero issues.

Question Enermax Infiniti 650W Sata / molex modular cables replacement? Are there some O.E.M not original compatible cables, or some other vendor?

For the price you are going to spend on cables, you will be able to buy a better power supply. There are so many deals out there for power supplies, that after mail in rebates you are barely paying anything. If that is your psu, I have a feeling you aren't running a top end setup (no offense)...

Question Dead Motherboard?

I have a feeling you are doing something wrong here mate. I would check the case wiring, or skip the case wiring and use a screw driver. Pop out the battery on the motherboard / clear cmos, this should help. Gut feeling tells me it's not dead, but that something is being done wrong.

Take the card apart and ensure that everything is hooked up correctly. He might have rushed through the install and over looked a wire or two. Sounds like the red led is out to me.

My opinion would be to buy the largest aio that fits in the top. Have the front fans as intake as normal, the top where the radiator is as exhaust and the rear as exhaust. Heat naturally rises, so placing the radiator at the top helps with this. In the end, it will barely matter in the...
