HDD Not recoginzing in BIOS?

After leaving it plugged into my working new computer for awhile I went to check it and it felt warm to the touch, I smelt it and I't smelt like burning solder or something similiar. I think I have got a dead drive. FML.

i5 2500k with hyper212 evo temps?

So I did a mild overclock to 4.0ghz with out any kind of adjustment other than the auto overclock feature on the mobo ( asrock extreme 3 gen 3 ) and it jumped to 44 degrees. I must have done something wrong?

Because this is my first build with anytype of aftermarket cooler and I wasn't sure waht to expect espically since I hadn't installed the stock HSF and put in the evo right away. So I had nothing to compare it to except the opionions of this forum.

i7-2600k idling at 74C with stock HSF (am I screwed?)

How are you getting those temps!! I just installed my Hyper212 EVO on my 2500k and I am getting 33-34 degrees idle. I posted about it and IntelRep responded saying thats normal use. You must be using another fan? In p/p?

StarCraft 2 Ultra Gaming Build

I am with Athadeus, I've got a 23.6" ASUS at 1920*1080 on a Powercolor HD6850 atm and I can play 1v1's ,2v2's Nexus Wars, and a few other minigames with about 60-80fps no problem ( havent tried 3v3 or 4v4) .
