Josh: Server will be internal, only I will be using SSH to login and run jobs. DB files will range from anywhere from 500MB up to 2GB each. I figure 1.5GB of ddr 266 should do it.

yeah that's what i was thinking about doing, only problem is that I can't decide on a dual athlon mobo. Plus all the ones I've seen are ddr 266, are there any chipsets that support DDR 400 or even DDR 333?

All the computers are windows xp, all using individual user names and passwords. Funny thing is that none of the systems have local accounts on each other but they log in without authentication except for the computer mentioned below. All the computers are set with user names and passwords but...

I have a small 5 user work group, all the computers can share files via tcp/ip and file and print shareing. One computer lets call it computer X has some data that i want to access on it. I can access that data from all the computers except for one of them. Lets call it computer Z Computer X...

Forgot to mention, there are no firewalls etc, i've also done the following Loaded up the local computer policy snap-in via MMC went to windows settings, security settings, local rights assignment and on the "access this computer from the network" policy i manually added computer Z still...
