    OT, Network problem...

    thats interesting. i moved about 100 megabytes in 40 seconds. That would be 2.5 MBps right? How would i get bits per sec? this is with a linksys nic and hub. connected to a cable modem, so i think its stuck on the slower setting.

    I just finished with my mom's new Duron 600 and installed the client there. Plus my slot-a Athlon 600 = crackin doubletime! I don't have the balls to overclock the thing though. Its already running at 45C

    S.M.A.R.T.??

    I noticed this in the bios enable S.M.A.R.T. for HD. Anyone know what it is? When I boot, if I pause the screen at just the right time, it tells me that smart is disabled but supported. I went and enabled it and rebooted. I have no idea what it does though hehe

    I myself don't think I would buy a computer for $4000 even if I had it. In 2 years you're lucky if its worth even half that. Of course, I'm not a CAD designer, or into graphics to need all that power :P It WOULD be nice to have such a computer though hehe. Maybe if someone donated to me...
