Possibly your boot record got screwed up. Use fdisk and see if it sees any partitons on the 27gb.

Anyone here Play RTS games? if so, which ones!

Earth 2150. More for the Hardcore RTS type players. Not for the meek. Also Warlords Battlecry. If your a serious RTS then these 2 games are a must have IMO.

Abit HotRod Pro 100 UDMA100 IDE/RAID Controller

There are only 3 IDE Raid chipset makers. Highpoint, Promise, and CMD. IWill, Abit, Epox and many others use the Highpoint 370. MSI and others uses Promise. AMI uses CMD which is found on IWill motherboards and in CompUSA controllers. I don't believe there is anything wrong with the controller...

Yeah I seen that VIA just released the chip. I guess Abit and them are already working on motherboards but it may be a few months. I probably won't be buying the KT133A board anyways.

Plextor or TDK?

The TDK 12x10x32 is a Plextor too!!! :) You can change the TDK into a Plextor the same as the Iomega.

Highpoint controller on Abit KT7-RAID

I agree with DesignDawg. It sounds like your MBR needs to be corrected to the Highpoint controller. Can't you load up a boot disk and use Fdisk /MBR ? That might do it.

Slow DAE on Iomega 12x10x32x (Firmware 1.07)

Are you ripping to MP3 or WAV files? If your ripping to MP3 files that is why it's slow. Your encoding the songs while ripping them. If you rip to WAV files it will rip at max speed. Download CDSpeed and it will show you how fast the DAE is. On my Iomega it starts at 15x and ends at 30x DAE...

Poll: *WHICH* radeon comes with tv in/out??

The Radeon 64mb RETAIL comes with a VIVO (video input and video output) while the OEM versions are optional. The Radeon 32mb DDR/SDR versions don't come with VIVO (video in / video out). If your looking for one with a TV Tuner built in then the All-In-Wonder Radeon 32 DDR is the only one.

What's up with my sh*tty intel740 videocard?

Check your bios and look for the AGP Aperture setting. Lower it a notch until the problem is solved. 32m or 64m is usually the optimum setting but the i740 is rather old.

Mode 4 vs ATA/33 between CD readers

Yes it works. Without the jumper it boots up showing PIO 4. With the jumper it boots up showing ATA33. As far as the difference I couldn't tell you. I haven't done any tests.
