I just checked and Ubuntu Server is quite good and it has some good cloud/storage management tools aswell. I am doing a virtual install as we speak. I guess this will be a better and more robust route as compared to buying an NAS. Anyway, back to the original question. In case I go with NAS...

The cloud would be more risky as compared to local server if you consider hiccups and such. Furthermore, I would not be comfortable with hosting my files with Google or Microsoft for obvious reasons.

Which AIB partner (in your opinion) makes the best nonreference heatsink/fan?

MSI Twin Frozr are the best ones. They look good and perform good too. ASUS's DirectCU design is a bit too gimicky and doesn't perform that good. WindForce from GIGABYTE is also good but loses first place to MSI.

Just got my hands on Intel SSD 520 240GB

Just got my hands dirty with Intel's latest SSD. Its the 520 Series 240 GB version. This is my first Intel SSD and i've to say its not only the performance i am impressed with. Design also pleased me, even though its simple but it looks way sexier than my Kingston and G.Skill SSDs. :D...

So you've built a monster computer - What do you do with yours?

I just like to have the powerful hardware. I mostly browse internet, check emails, overclock and bench most of the times. Last game i played was BF3 back when it was launched. Played it for like 2 weeks only.
