what is going on with my rig?

I'm at 1) now. I am boot normally but cpu stuck at 1.2 my throttle stop looks like this http://imgur.com/c3jE1u9 I ran intel burn test still 1.2. I manually set it to 38 ratio, disable speed step and c state. Still 1.2ghz. What's going on?

what is going on with my rig?

I change psu a month ago works perfectly. Then...... when I change my gpu..... 1) it wouldn't post. I turn the machine on. Lights on for 10 sec and it shut downs directly without posting bios. I manually disable c state, speed step and set the ratio to 40. Yet when I go to bios it said 1200mhz...

Cant get i7-4930k above 4.1ghz ? (msi x79A-GD45 plus )

I get bsod 30 second in with my rig if I run p95 with avx-2 XD.

What is wrong with my system

Furmark is not stressing my system hard enough. My gpu temp is only up to 70. When I game witcher i get to 76~78. when OC it will be around 80~82. When I OC and ran furmark it doesn't pass the 80c mark.

What is wrong with my system

I don't think is ram problem because I am not getting any freeze when i'm working. I boot up vm too so the ram usage is higher for me when I am working than gaming.

What is wrong with my system

I am running several test. I just got a bsod with no oc while gaming witcher 3. Have you heard of driver/game that can cause bsod. Bsoding is more like hardware issue than software. Before that I was able to run metro LL benchmark 10 times without problem while OCINg the card. I am really confused.

Update: The games freezes with audios too. Does that deduce anything? Nvidia driver? Unstable OC? This morning I oc my card. I got a msi 980 oc edition i just oc to 1390mhz +87mv 122% power limit. It should be stable. But game freezes with audio. Can that be a psu problem? From my...

What is wrong with my system

Been playing witcher 3 today. Got freeze and hangs that requires restart. I was thinking it might be nvidia driver or me over clocking my gpu. Just a while ago, i am gaming witcher 3. My computer suddenly restarts itselfs. gpu isn't OC, cpu isn't OC. This is very strange I am suspecting either...

I have windows 7 ultimate. Occasionally when I boot up it will hang before the four color form a window logo. I googled every single last post, pull out all usb, pull out all harddrive except the one with OS. reinstall video driver, run kapasky rescue disk, run repair. No help, it hangs 1/3 time...

enb txaa sli issues. Skyrim enb

I'm just going to present facts I have 2x 980 in sli with 5960x as cpu. 1) befor txaa enabled 50ish fps 2) enabled txaa 30 fps (txaa enabled from this point on) 3) Made sure sli is running in nvc 4) disable sli, same fps 30 ish 5) maybe cpu bound? OC cpu, no fps increase 6) turn on...

Fixing resource conflict?

My g9 mouse keep dcing. I thought its my mouse issue. however when I plug into another computer it works fine. I believe it has something to do with resource conflict. Can anyone teach me how to fix it? Btw i did go to power management and device manager to turn off usb shutdown etc.... I...

A lot of base system device

motion blurr causing black screen flickering in 1440p

In 1080p no problem but in 1440p will cause black screen flickering on the background not my char though because motion blurr won't blurr my character. While I move around in the forest in crysis3/witcher2 why? My rig is in my sig.

i7-4790K v.s. i7-5820K

DDR3> DDR4? heh? I owe a sandy-e and now haswel-e when i touch my ddr3 ram it's always hot. THe ddr4 ram however is always chill. Lower voltage and lower heat in hte box = better OC for cpu and gpu.

Someone recommend me a psu and individual sleeves cable set

Gimme the links of the the psu that is best suited for my rig right now. The individual sleeves must be red. My rig is in the sig, but instead of 970 i have the 980 in sli. So it will be 2x 8pin for each gpu. Keep the cost realistic. I don't need 1600w plat. Thanks

^ i get up to 80 only if i run the stress test. If I am gaming it never went above 70C.

Dedicated PhysX vs no PhysX question?

if u have a good enough cpu. Let' ur cpu handle the phyx. I have 980sli i use my second gpu as dedicated phyx. I compare the effect with the cpu phyx. No different at all. Same amount of rocks drops when i shoot the wall in metro.

5960x @ 4.4ghz vs 4790k @4.8ghz

Anyone have the bench mark between those two cpu at those clock? Any prediction? side question. My 5960x is at 4.4ghz under 80c under load with 1.285v. (stressed tested 8hrs with realbench [approved]) Do you think running 24/7 like that is damaging to my cpu? Thanks

err. i'm pretty sure i7 975 can handle ur gtx 970 no problem. THere's no reason to upgrade....

What kind of bs is that..... maintaining 4.5ghz. I have the 5960x myself with 980sli. There's no differnece between 4.0ghz vs 4.4ghz in gaming at all. I did the testing extensively cuz I pumping 1.315v at 4.5 all the time and was thinking I'm getting extra performance. Which I don't..... )=

what's all the fuss about 4790k > 5960x. I mean we are obviously going to OC it. I don't think a 4790k at 5.0ghz is out performing a 5960x at 4.4ghz in gaming..
