Printer suggestions?

Thanks for the suggestions. There is a state government surplus store nearby that I should check for a color laser. I'm not sure what brand I would go with if I were to stick with an inkjet though. I got away from HP because of stupid ink prices but I haven't been impressed with epson.

Printer suggestions?

I'm getting fed up with my Epson printer. It's the kind with the four (CMYK) ink carts and the main problem is if I let it sit for more than a week without printing, which happens often, then it needs a print head cleaning. This really sucks the ink down, and it really seems to suck the ink...

Recommendation for a GPU swap?

I think you guys were spot on about the CPU overclocking. I set it back to defaults and have given it a few days of testing without any problems at all. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

I've been playing Farm Simulator 2015 - DON'T JUDGE, my 2-year old loves playing it with me :D Anyways, it freezes/crashes constantly. It's really a drag.

Is it worth selling a 7950?

What it's worth is only part of the equation, the other part being how much it will cost to get a replacement that will make the whole thing worth your time. 13% cuts into that pretty significantly. So it's wise to consider all the factors, but to each his own I guess.

Paypal takes a 2.9% cut of the full sale price (includes anything you charged for shipping) plus another 30 cents (ok???) then eBay also takes 10% of the full sale price.

I don't think they are selling for as much as they were 2-3 weeks ago, on eBay at least. Still high and may be worth it, but they have come down. I tried selling mine but when I couldn't get as much as I wanted, I decided to just keep it. By the way, since when did eBay get so freaking...

Just got to try CR for 2-3 hours. Didn't encounter any problems. My initial impression is "meh". It just felt way too vehicle heavy overall. I kinda liked silk road but the littlebirds were ruining the balance. Also liked Guilin Peaks somewhat, but it seemed a little too small at times.

Man, it seems like it takes me forever to unlock guns. I want to play assault more but I don't really love the AK-12, so I keep going back to engineer. I do like the AK 5C but I'm hoping one of the other carbines is better, it would be nice to actually use one of the guns I unlock.

Disabling core parking also helps i5 cpus. None of my i5 2500k's cores were parked while playing BF4, but the game was stuttering badly until I disabled parking. I didn't realize how bad it was until I did. Butter smooth afterwards.

Questions about 7950

I haven't overclocked this card. I did oc'd the previous cards I had, so I'm somewhat familiar with doing it, but definitely not an expert. Maybe a DERP question, but do you undervolt because it's needed for stability or just because you can reduce the voltage for the clocks you want, so why not?

Does anyone still get the AMD 7xxx bug where your monitor doesn't wake up from sleep?

Finally upgrading off of a CRT: need monitor help.

The BenQ XL2420T is what I'd get if I could justify the cost, considering I don't game a ton anymore. It appears that taking the time to calibrate and adjust settings to your liking would be very important but yields good results as far as TN panels go...

My 7950 is being RMA'd to Sapphire because of this issue. My current PC is a new build and since I sent the 7950 back I have been using my old 4830, it works just fine.

Yeah so, the 600hz thing with plasmas is really just marketing BS, gaming on a "600hz" plasma tv is not the same thing as a true 120hz pc monitor. I don't know if this is what you meant either but since you mentioned the plasma tv, gaming on a 120hz LCD tv is not equivalent to a true 120hz pc...
