Instigator, you misunderstood me I think. I cant run any higher then 638Mhz(at 75FSB). If I try to run at 707(at 85FSB) it hangs when I get into windows and if I try to boot at 850(at 100FSB) I dont even get passed my bios check. Another problem is that I cant send the chip back, the return...

SL46T Q029A660-0639 Maly My bios is the latest for the bx6rev2, QR version. I have a 13 GB matrox harddisk, nothing fancy, runs at 5400rpm and is 33 UDMA. Also a Voodoo3 which is AGP. 1 Soundblaster AWE in a ISA slot and a ISDN adapter from Teles which is also in a ISA slot. Someone else...

You might be right lsd but i wont give up just yet. Yes Oracle, i had to write user define !!! The strange thing is that the first day I received it, I imediately tried to overclock but then it didnt even want to hit 638mhz !!!

Abit BX6 rev2 plus 566 celery @ 850....?!?!?!?

I got the asus smartslot 1(S370-133) and I have the jumpers set to coppermine and the voltage to default. My ram is set at 2 if i'm not mistaking !! might that be a problem ? My softmenu is set on default, both for the cpu and voltage. For the cpu I set it on 8.5 multiplier, 100mhz, no error...

How does this work ? Do I need to make this audio disc the same way you make an audio disc on a CD-R ? Or do I just drop the .wav files on the disk ?? cause both dont seem to work. First of all, when I just copied the .wav files to the CD-RW disk it didnt play in my CD player(it did play on...

FC-PGA vs Slot 1. Which is better and why?

My best answer can only be, get a mobo with a Slot1 and also a slot 1 converter. This way you can use both the cheaper FC-PGA cpus and maybe later on, when they get cheaper, the P3 which fits in a slot1.
