From Hp website the answer is sure. Every time I insert a 80 mins
CD-R, it shows 650M(74mins). I have tried two brands of CD-R. There
is no difference. I just bought is machine. So I think the software
should be up to date. So where is wrong?

I have met the SAME problem with my abit Kt7-raid and SB Mp3
I got the solution from go.to/kt7faq.
The answer is quite simple, diable "creative SB16 emulation" in
the device manager (not remove). Then try to install the software again.
"SB16 emulation" is for DOS, it can not...
I have been enable "boot other devices", 80pins cable is here (blue
end plugged in mobo). I can not understand why HP 370 can detect my HD
but it can not work if it is bad chip.

I have already installed win98 at IBM HD. it works fine at IDE 1&2.
But when I switch is to IDE 3 or 4, it refuses to boot.I enable
"ata100raid" as the first boot device. setup it in highpoint bios
as UDMA5 and boot device. But it can't work. what else can I do?

The problem is that it seems IDE 3 and 4 does not work.
I install the driver and followed the direction to move
the IBM deskstar 30 GB(ATA100) to IDE 3 or 4. The Highpoint
bios detect the hard drive and I can set it as boot. But
