Gonna upgrade to 32GB for my Ryzen 1700 and I am curious what RAM is best compatible and has RGB? Haven't been keeping up. I have the latest bios x370 prime pro.
How don't I know what I am talking about? And when did I say I was an expert? I don't know what I'm talking about because my gaming priorities are different than yours?
A little offtopic but I cannot find the ryzen OC thread. Is my r7 1700 a good chip because it does 4GHz all day long at 1.4v and 3.8 at 1.35? I was trying to see but I dunno.
See I don't care about high fps gaming I care about high quality gaming. I would rather spend the other 60+ FPS in making the game look better. If I played an FPS seriously then I might consider above 60 fps a priority.
What about my 4k 60hz setup? Oh wait. See. You can't say that because different scenarios give different results. I've never said and won't be saying for a very long time "Oh redacted i'm not getting 60 fps its because my CPU is too slow! Time to upgrade".
No profanity allowed in the tech...
No you didn't.. I was unaware I had to be so damn specific or people were gonna break down my post like an eminem song.

Can anyone explain that? How is ryzen beating intel at the same clocks and same core count? So literally all Intel is winning at in normal...
So you're telling me if I switched out right now to a 5.5GHz 8700k I'd get more FPS? No? I am a buyer who buys based on my needs. So you're telling me you're one of those buyers who says "I WANT THE FASTEST NO MATTER WHAT!" even though it means nothing in the long run? Now if you said a 1080ti...
You didn't answer my question. Verbage may be wrong but I am still right in the end.
IPC and Clockspeed are strongly related within a given architecture.
IPC is instructions per clock. So they are related by definition.
IPC reliant programs will benefit from higher clock speed and higher...
Why do people assume you're pushing agendas? I never said Ryzen was a better purchase for YOU. I was asking why you chose the worst 6 core cpu out vs a decent one. I was asking honesty I wasn't looking for sarcastic smart ass responses. I honestly don't know much about CFL but the obvious.
AMD will keep AM4 for like another 2-3 years. Its how they do. Its why I am content with my 1700 at 4GHz right now. It'll work fine until AMD releases their 5GHz 8 core CPU's.
