you wont really get a huge jump in loading for putting games on an SSD. unless you are playing MMO's that require allot of streaming from storage but games like COD or BF would not really help with it that much. loading times would probably be only a second or 2 faster if that. When i had a few...
you would have to read your motherboard manual. if your motherboard only has 4 ports then id think all 4 would go to the chipset and there is no third party sata controller.
i think it effects the metro UI as well as desktop. they added the DPI feature cause of the surface and surface pro so i would imagine they would add the feature for both parts of the os
that's where im at. i loved the 600t but its bigger than the case i have now (antec 900v2) not by to much but its is bigger. and i cant get a prodigy being that i have a regular atx motherboard. i just build a bud a computer with the corsair 350D microatx case and i LOVE IT. its small BUT it has...
i game mostly with my speakers but i do every once in a while game and use my Logitech G230 headset.
i noticed that only difference with those two sound cards is 192KHz vs 96KHz i have no idea what that means lol. is that just the bandwidth of the audio? will the 192KHz make much...
o wow i didnt know they have conversion lens ... wow lol shows how much im not with it when it comes to camera's lol
and as for the Reversed mount adapter. looks neat but how would that work, would i have to selected the shoot without lens setting? i would be worried getting the back of...
did a clean install of mavericks via usb on my mid 2011 MBA (sandy bridge chip) and now when i cold boot (or restart) my mac. upon start up. wifi takes 20 seconds to find my network, then once found and connected says "no internet connection) and the wifi icon has a ! in the middle of it. stays...
ok, i've been living on on board audio for way way to long and its time to get a nice sound card. needs to do 5.1 (i use a logitech Z506) so needs 3.5mm connectors. mostly game and listing to music. im not a huge audiophile so having the ability to switch out dac's and stuff is not needed. i...
help me find a decent but cheap micro 4/3 macro lens.
I have a Panasonic Lumix GF2 with the stock 14mm pancake lens. i really like taking macro shots but its hard to do this with this lens. i really dont want to pay 600 bucks for a lens (when i bought the camera for only 200 bucks). is there...

Evga GTX 780 SC ACX
Samsung 840 Pro 128gb

o wow. i didnt think it was that much smaller to the prodigy cases. i've always wanted to build a mini gaming rig. just never liked the idea of having a hot video card in a small space. dont want its heat also heating up the cpu.
i've used both windows 7 and windows 8 for my HTPC. no really advantage in going to 8 or even 8.1 over 7 for a HTPC. there is a Netflix "app" if you dont want to use a browser but the app does not like remotes and you have to use a mouse and keyboard (which kinda kills HTPC's imo)
upgrading to anything amd or intel will do well. getting a FM2 platform would probably be the cheapest but also do what you want. personally i have this motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128598
it uses a ivy bridge cpu. (very close to whats in most ultrabooks) and has...
also check what controller you have the drive connected to. ive had an issue when i connected my drive to a Marvell sata controller and not the sata port that is controlled by the chipset.
i wish there was computer outlets where i live that sold mech keyboards. i want to get one but im very picky and i dont want to buy something then turn out i dont like it. im still using a 5 year old PS/2 logitech keybord lol.
to be honest i dont mind this keyboard to much but its getting...
i have a EVGA ACX superclocked GTX 780. it runs very quiet and the warranty from evga is pretty awesome. I was going to go asus but newegg didnt have them up for sale for some reason when i bought mine.
personally i love my evga card but i kinda wish i went with the asus card. the asus card...
i have my 2600K at 4.5ghz and it set on offset mode. (forgot what i have load line set to) but on full load never goes over 1.29V
the gain from 4.5 to 5.0ghz is min and not worth the extra voltage and heat imo
cpu i overclocked for sure. as for gpu. i rarely do. maybe a small overclocked but most of the time the overclock only gives me very little gain but allot more heat and power useage
