In a standoff situation where the atmosphere is already tense and unpredictable, the last thing the cops need is some guy in the background blasting music, getting in the way and getting in their faces. He was already asked to turn down the music and the guy is just shouting about "harassment."...
After playing Marathon on the Mac I was following Bungie's progress for the longest time with HALO as a Mac-only game. The initial gameplay videos looked awesome ...
... then things changed.
I'm dying for some retro PS One gaming from the 90's - preferably in a portable form so I'm thinking about getting a PSP. I want to play some titles that I don't see listed on the Sony PS store website.
I'm completely naive about PSP so I'm wondering, do ports exist for some/all of these games...
I've got a modded '10 Mustang GT as a DD and the noise and ride are just fine for me. The ride is a bit stiff for my pregnant wife. In a couple of weeks I'm getting an offroad H pipe ... I really pray my wife doesn't have a problem with the noise.
1.) Observe basic sleep hygiene
Avoid napping during the day; it can disturb the normal pattern of sleep and wakefulness.
Avoid stimulants such as caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol too close to bedtime. While alcohol is well known to speed the onset of sleep, it disrupts sleep in the second half...
^^^ this.
It's an attractive design but it's not an American muscle car. IMO the modern muscle car has to have some retro in the basic design ... otherwise you're just building another Japanese pseudosport econobox or a second-class euro sport coupe.
IMO we've become so accustomed to Japanese econoboxes the size of a muscle car seems intimidating to some folks.
Go take a look at a Camaro or Challenger sometime. The Mustang is smaller and lighter than both of 'em.
You could get one in the UK but it's not going to be through the dealership and it's definitely not going to be cheap. They have specialty shops that import them from the US and make necessary mods to make them street legal. Same thing in Australia where there's more love for American muscle...
I could buy that argument if the inventory scrolling were intuitive or customizable. In "real life" I'm not going to go rummaging around to find a katana on my body ... then accidentally grab a juicebox in my haste.
It just seemed unnecessarily cumbersome.
I think my main problem is that I'll never get used to using a game controller over a mouse and keyboard. I'm hopelessly handicapped that way.
Dead Rising was a great game but the inventory management was ridiculous. You had to manage your inventory in real time. I'm being surrounded by...
Sounds like you need to discover LSD.
j/k I know it's harder nowadays to find a gane you cam get "lost" in. It's a difficult thing to (re)capture. Give Guild Wars 2 a shot when it comes out.
Get a good gaming keyboard with good key feedback. I play with a Deck keyboard. I dumped my Razer keyboard in favor of it.
+1 on the advice about getting a wired mouse with a high poll rate and resolution. I currently use a Razer Lachesis
Fine tune your mouse sensitivity to your instincts...
Onechanbara (yeah, I played it for the T&A, so what?) ... motorcycle stage ... controls made no sense.
+2 to Myst.
Any FPS game on a console. Keyboard and mouse are more natural.
My favorite moment in GW as a Monk/Mesmer was exploring the underworld with a team and one "Leeroy" Warrior who wouldn't follow instructions and basically told everyone to "F* off". I rezzed him with Unyielding Aura and, next time he got out of line I yanked the spell and he died instantly...
