Trying to find good cooler that will fit mATX board

How good of a cooler do I need to overclock intel g3258?

I was going to get a cheap $45 micro atx motherboard to overclock on but am concerned about an aftermarket cooler being able to fit on the motherboard. Anyone using a cheap micro atx board to overclock the g3258 with an aftermarket cooler? I'll also note that my case is a gateway midtower case...

Good motherboard for intel g3258?

I am planning on getting the intel g3258 processor but am not sure which motherboard to get. There are some cheaper boards that you can overclock this processor on such as the MSI H81M-P33 but is this board both safe and good to use for overclocking or would I be better off going with a z97 board?

I don't have access to another monitor to test with my desktop but my dad has an apple laptop and an imac and the image looks fine to me on those. I want to note again that I have no problems with the image on the windows laptop that I use.

I am using a VGA connection as I only have VGA output on my computer. If I get a new video card I could use the DVI on that as my monitor supports DVI. Also, if I get a new video card, it appears that I will only need to spend about $40 for one that will be used for basic web browsing and work...

I have checked my color management settings in the Windows control panel and there do not appear to be any color profiles that have been left behind. In the advanced tab, it lists all the color profiles as system default.

I did adjust the brightness and contrast all the way to max and it didn't help. I did this using the settings on the computer and also on the monitor.
