The iP5 does look odd, haven't used one much yet, just held them for a few seconds. I wish Google/Apple would do something crazy like make the Nexus 7/iPad Mini a cell phone :)

I have an S3 I bought off a crack addict on Craigslist for $300 and a Note on Straight Talk. Just rooted the S3, have to love tethering 4G on an unlimited Verizon plan. Am tired of the Note, it actually makes my hand hurt. I don't buy into the small screen argument by Apple, but 5+ inches...

I don't think history is repeating itself, what seems to be happening is companies that can are following Apple's lead, MS is considering making it's own phone, has already committed to making it's own tablet, HP is throwing resources at Web OS again and talking about developing a phone, Google...

New iPhone Question

Yes, the iPhone 5 uses a "Nano sim" It's possible to trim it down, but better to just get a new one. Also, just FYI, Verizon's LTE sims are a single activation only sim, if you change numbers or use a different phone, you need them to activate a new sim that's tied to your phone. Honestly not...

You ignored my point and first question, do you really think Anand would put up with this manipulation or would he write an article about Apple trying to manipulate him? I think we'd find out about it pretty quickly if Apple used those tactics. Heck, they can't even keep the supply chain...

Kindle Paperwhite (non-3G)

I did as well, have had a current gen Kindle, Touch, Touch 3G, and just pre ordered the wifi Paperwhite, I underestand the contrast with this device is awesome... Really looking forward to it.

Anand ran an article about proving the iP4's antenna was crappy, that likely cost Apple millions of dollars. I don't see a bias.

Do you enjoy Anand's Podcasts?

I like listening to the verge and engadget's mobile podcasts much more. Anand does have a pleasant voice and I suspect is a very nice person in meatspace.

Same here, I use BT a lot, the Fire just doesn't cut it, and the whole "integration with Amazon services" thing isn't that big of a deal. Ordered a 16GB Nexus :)
