Question why do they keep bringing out new cards

Possibly a full cache partition. If you have a custom bootloader installed, clear the cache and Dalvik cache.

Home Theater Dilemma

Does your TV support HDMI 1.4 ARC? If so, you should be able to connect the components directly to one of the TV's inputs through the HDMI switch, and use the ARC functionality to pass the audio back to the receiver over the other HDMI port. Also, Harmony.

Because swiping to a widget isn't any faster than tapping an app. Because the app has a better UI, with more context. Because anything that would need the immediate gratification of a widget already offers a notification. Because I don't feel like losing another hour of my life to configuring...

I see the home screen for roughly seven seconds at a shot. I get in, find the next app, and get out; I don't hang out there. A tablet, to me, is a serial kiosk. (A smartphone, on the other hand, is a swiss army knife. I could see the argument for customization there -- though it doesn't work...

Who cares about formatting? Website devs obviously don't. If they really cared about formatting, they'd have coded the stylesheets to degrade gracefully to sub-1024px resolutions, rather than forcing a 1200px-wide column and pillarboxing that so that it's terrible on small and large screens...

Noise-cancellation on microphones, yes. Noise-cancellation on on the earpiece, however, is thusfar unique to the iPhone, AFAIK. Unfortunately, that ad isn't terribly articulate; but then, active noise cancellation can be a troublesome concept to explain to laypeople.
