Buy a USB docking station, download and install the free version of EaseUS ToDo Backup and clone everything from your existing HDD to your new SSD.
Remove your old HDD, install your new SSD and all will be as it was.
Be sure to check the box marked "Optimize for SSD" and check the box to shut...
I use easeUS with great success. Never a problem and I don't have activate anything. Everything is as it was with my old HDD but not on my new SSD.

I believe Prefetch was created for Win XP and Superfetch was an improvement for Vista.
