NotoriousMAK This may be a shot in the dark. I had a problem close to what you are having and I couldn't get my system to respond as you. I ended up removing all my devices, modem, soundcard, memory, etc and then placed them back in leaving the video card for last and when I booted...Presto up...

Okay here's the scoop. I upgraded a few months ago to MSI K7Pro mobo for my classy Athlon. When I did I was running a 4.3 Samsung HD as Primary with a Smart & Friendly CD Racer CD as a slave. All was cool until I decided to add my 24x cdrom as a Secondary master on the seconde IDE...

I have no idea what happended. I was using my scanner when I accidentally pulled out the adapter power cord from the scanner during the scan and the whole system turned off. I assumed the power surge proctector took it as a surge and shut down the system. Anyway I turned the system back on...

Is this a good sound setup??

Altec & Creative Labs have always had some excellent quality accessories....I'd say it is good. You be the judge....Crank it up...fine tune it....let us know what you think? Good luck :)

Memory Indentification help needed?????

I am going nuts trying to figure out how to identify some memory I have. I have 4 sticks of 72pin memory that are manufactured by PNY, but thats all I can tell. Is's two-sided with 2 simms on each side. I have pics, but I am not sure how to upload for viewing. I cannot seems to locate how to...

confused; I was curious, can a classy Slot A Athlon be oc'd without a GFD. I am using a MSI K7 Pro that is jumperless. The BIOS automatically sets the CPU on the board. However I notice that the Multiplier clock can be manually changed up to 150. I tinkered with it and was able to see...
