What's the hottest overclocking P4 C series chip right now?

Um, the 2.8c is $213 at newegg. It's only $38 more than the 2.6c. That may be "considerably" more money to you, to me it's worth the potentially higher o/c, and the insurance in case I get a dud.

KaZaa Lite - neutered version of KaZaa with installer (no spyware or ad-ware)

REMEMBER that Cydoor will still be installed after you take out Kazaa, MAKE SURE you run Ad-aware or other anti-spyware software to remove the registry entries and such for Cydoor.

I need to find the binary equivelents for some ASCII characters

Interesting link, but you do realize that ascii is only 128 codes right, in 7-bit? It gets really varied after that, with "extended acsii", ISO codes, unicode, whether to use 7-bit or 8-bit, etc. Many so-called ascii codes are different between unix and dos, as well.

Overclock question?

Actually the worst is to fry your CPU. However, that usually only happens to people that try extreme overclocking without stepping up a bit at a time. If you step up and one fails, blue screen, etc., no big deal, you just step down again. Second worst (to me) is corrupting the hard drive...

CPU Temperature!!!!!

No need to download anything. Just check the FSB speed in BIOS. If it's 133, then its a 266 (the FSB is really 133, but memory can be accessed on both the rising and falling curve, so it's doubled).

Win2k pro upgrade

Yes, that's the way to do it. You don't actually have to reformat, there are some apps that will let you repartition, but it's kinda messy. Install 98 first, then 2k. 2k will set up a boot manager for you to use both. Don't install both on same partition.
