HELP: Is there a reason to buy 1080p over 720p if you dont watch blueray ect...

Check out the (sometimes undecipherable) menu items involved if you can. Cheaper sets have less settable options usually.

Drive cabling question

Help--No user accounts on XP logon screen

Software to disable banners and adds?

webwasher is free, and very good. The only caveat might be that on graphic intensive sites or ones that have pop-up windows to alert you of specials, you will miss them unless you turn off WW; also the coupon buttons on buy.com will not appear unless turned off.

Should I get a USB Hub that has an external power supply?

aic, definitely get one w/ a power supply and not just because I have several Interex for sale. If you have several USB devices connected, a lot of the generic internal power supplies on computers today are either marginal to begin with or rated improperly by the manuf's.
