Amd 7870 vs 7950

I would prefer the 7950 over the Tahiti LE. The only real advantage a Tahiti LE has over a 7870 seems to be 256 more stream processors, so unless it overclocks like crazy, I'd rather vouch for a 7870. Having 25% of some parts laser locked on a chip doesn't seem to bode well for chip quality IMO...

GeForce Titan coming end of February

Seems like it has potential to be a monster, but the price is a monster as well. We'll see what happens when it's released.

ASUS ARES II Dual HD 7970 Video Card Reviews

Looks awesome, but the GTX 690 seems to give it a run for its money, and I could probably pick up 5 used 7970s for $1600. Nonetheless, it still looks like a neat limited edition card.

Can I swap motherboards without re-installing Win7-64?

The transition should go alright. Just make sure your SATA ports are set up like they are on your old setup (AHCI) and I would probably boot into Safe Mode the first time to minimize any possible issues. You could always take a system image of your main drive before you move it just in case...

Should I exchange my 7970 for a 670?

AMD's real biggest issue, The DX9 Artifacts

Intel i5 750 Overclocked - or is it?

Yeah, Windows hasn't acknowledged the real CPU speed for some time, though Windows 8's Task Manager reported my 3770K's clock speed of 4.3 GHz correctly. It's definitely overclocked since CPU-Z shows the changes.

i5 750 OCed to 4GHz Questions

Gaming - What is Faster Than i7-3770K

I would just overclock the 3770K. IMO LGA 2011 doesn't seem to be worth it just for gaming as you end up having to spend a lot more for something like a 3930K. Plus, from what I heard, the power consumption of LGA 2011 SB-E chips seems to be noticeably higher than the LGA 1155 Ivy Bridge chips...

i7 2700K vs 3770K

3770K also has a lower power consumption, but "runs hotter" due to the use of paste instead of solder between the die and the IHS. My 3770K runs in the low 80s (full normal load) on a Thermaltake Water 2.0 Performer at 4.3GHz/1.175v with cheap TIM. Overall, I like my 3770K more than my 2600K...

How to tell if your Motherboard supports HD Audio or PC97?

Should likely be HD Audio. Like others said, AC '97 went away around when AGP did more or less.

[TT]NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor details leaked

Bought a Nexus 7 last week and am very happy with Tegra 3's performance, so Tegra 4 can only be better I suppose. So glad I upgraded from one of those no-name Allwinner A10 based tablets that took practically 2 minutes to do anything.

How do I clean my laptop screen/display?

I typically get dust on my screens for the most part, which as others have mentioned is easily cleaned off with a microfiber cloth. For fingerprints and stuff, eyeglass lens cleaner and the microfiber cloth works wonders.

Your favorite CPUs?

I really enjoyed my Barton 2500+ that was factory unlocked, as well as my X2 4200+ Toledo that did 2.8GHz easily. Nowadays, I enjoy my i7 2600K because it pretty much eats whatever I run on it.
