Need a crash course on webcams (FIREWIRE), FAST! (Purhased, performance update)

Pioneer DVD-115 SLOT???

I've got the 105s (slot version) and it has been working well for about six months now, except it has an annoying tendancy to spin up and not spin down for a loooooooonnnnnnngggggg time, several minutes sometimes. Not quite sure what the problem is. Gamble

Well the reinstall seems to have gone ok. I think the problem has been fixed, however all of my software needs to be reinstalled. Most of the drivers appear to be intact though. All in all, I should have just done a format c: and started from scratch with a clean partition. All those junk...

Oh dear god, I think I messed up big time!!!

Ok, TOTAL MELTDOWN AT THIS POINT! Now when I try to bootup, it says that my sytem.ini file is missing, press any key to continue. When I do it just shuts down the computer!!! Any suggestions? Craig

Oh dear god, I think I messed up big time!!!

Update: It looks like the camera software is not running properly after all. It ran great last night, but just before starting to defrag I opened the quickcam software, and it was indicating that the camera was already in use by another program.

Mixing RAM

Is it ok to mix Mushkin Rev. 2 PC133 CAS2 ram with Crucial PC133 Cas 2? I have a 850 Tbird/A7V system, and was noticing that Crucial's ram prices are too good to turn down right now. So, are there any problems with mixing ram from different manufacturers? Gamble
