Why is my benchmark so low??

So, I went into the power settings and recognized it was set to eco-balanced. This must have caused the processor to underclock itself to save power. I ran it again and came back with a smooth 3786 rating on the CPU mark. :)

OK, so I didn't know the TDP was such an important value. It is a laptop vs a desktop, so that makes sense. But, I'm still baffled because even the comparison for the i5 in the link you provided is 3544... my bench was 1426 and 1396 when I ran it a second time! Why on earth is my score less...

What happened to my PC?

Bad Firmware on 5-6TB Seagates?

Can you show me the 6TB Seagate 7200? The one I see on Amazon is supposedly 5900, even though it doesn't explicitly state the drive speed.

Sorry guys, I made a mistake. The reviews I was reading were also piled in with older models, and the specific review I read on Amazon was about a 1TB model. That being said, does anyone have a preference between the Seagate 6TB and the WD Red 6TB? BTW, I won't be using it with RAID or a NAS...

Bad Firmware on 5-6TB Seagates?

I'm reading some bad feedback about the 5-6TB Seagate Internal HDDS. Something about a known firmware problem. Can anyone should some more light on this. I was ready to purchase one, but now I'm scared.

Installed new memory...now computer won't even boot.

Well, I tried your suggestion everyday for the last few days and no luck. Thanks for trying to help. Much appreciated. I went ahead an bought myself a nice budget value notebook -- the Toshiba Satellite C55-C5240. It's a nice little upgrade, so I'm cool with everything. :)

Hi all, any help would be greatly appreciated. First thing I did was unlock the battery, but then I placed it back in like a neophite, so I didn't remove it like I was supposed to. I removed the old memory and placed the new one inside. I closed the hatch, turned it over.... and it won't...

Update: I ran diskpart from command prompt, and used command 'list disk' to see if the drive would appear in DiskPart. It is listed as online, even though it doesnt appear in Windows Explorer. In Disk Management, it's still listed as unallocated.
