HOW THE HECK??

hmmmm....i don't think an app would cause the additional heat...as u said...full load it was running at 50C. So i'm figuring you might've jarred the hsf when you installed the card causing uneven heat transfer across the die. Reseat the heatsink and see how you do. wars

computer noise

well in my case, the noise is mostly coming from all the fans i have in there. if you have an "overclockers" case and have an excess amount of fans in there, you could start removing those (though it would defeat the purpose of being an "overclockers case"). The second most obvious noise maker...

sounds like it might be your ram. try reseating the ram, or moving the module to another dimm slot. if you're using more than 1 module, use one at a time and see if that eliminates the problem. also as a general troubleshooting rule, if you're having problems getting to POST, remove all...

Dual Monitors: What are the uses?

I leave one monitor w/ my mail client open and the other I use for viewing web pages. It's also very useful when your typing a paper and you're pulling a source from the internet. wars -------------------------------- Hail to the King, Baby -Ash
