I wouldn't get an Insignia HDTV...there are plenty of LG, Sharp, Toshiba, etc. sets for around $400 if you're patient and search around. Take a look at the LG 42CS560 on Amazon, it's about $450 and has great picture quality/reliability.
Refurbs, for the most part, are quite reliable..but there are always a few exceptions. I would just exchange this one; I doubt such an error will occur again.

The Audio-Technica ATH-M50 might be a reasonable choice..or the Sennheiser HD280 Pro. Take a look at the features and pricing.
The Olympus E-PL1 is a very responsive and reliable camera, especially for the great price of $275. If you haven't seen this review, it is a fairly comprehensive overview: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/olympusepl1
I'm not certain that the iPhone 5 will have enough new features over those of the 4s to warrant another purchase, but usability, durability, and comfort will definitely be factors in that decision.
I second this. Vizio is a fine brand with plenty of quality sets, as long as you take the time to find the model which satisfies your interests. Take a look at reviews and try to find an above-average deal for the TV that you want; it doesn't need to be 'top-tier' to have reasonable quality...
I'd recommend the Sony BDP-S380..it is right around your price range (I found one for about $110, but try shopping around if you want it cheaper) and features plenty of streaming features, including Netflix. Also, it has fast loading times and decent quality, especially for this price. It...
A tv with 120hz refreshes the image twice as fast, resulting in a smoother image/less blurring. Of course, this results in a more expensive television set and is often not noticeable without placing the 120hz and 60hz models side-by-side. I would take a look at two comparable sets next to each...
Based on user reviews (http://www.lg.com/us/tvs/lg-47CM565-lcd-tv and http://reviews.dell.com/2341n/A5698466/sharp-sharp-46-inch-lc-46sv49u-1080p-hd-lcd-tv-reviews/reviews.htm), both sets seem to be of excellent quality for a reasonable price, so you can't go wrong with either at this...
You should look into the Toshiba 40L5200U LED, as it is a reasonably priced television with above-average picture quality and performance. Another good choice would be the Panasonic TC-PST50 series, for its excellent plasma quality. I would also advise you to compare prices to get the best...
The Plantronics Voyager Pro UC headset is very effective for a reasonable price ($65 on Amazon...I found it difficult to track down the best prices but this was among the lowest). It has plenty of features, above-average audio quality, and Smart Sensor technology, making it a viable option.
Even without the optical image stabilization, the A1200 is a great value for less than $100. Considering that you won't be taking many pictures of moving objects, this camera should serve its purpose well. The A800 is another low-price option.
