Is my Gigabyte HD7950 broken??

My problem seems to have gone away now luckily. I used to have a nvidia card in this machine and apparently there were plenty of files left from that. So in the end, I just decided to reinstall my computer and there was also a newer AMD driver. And I haven't noticed my screen 'jumping' anymore...

Firebird, do you mean the clocks at idle? Those are 300MHz Core, 625MHz memory and voltage is 0.950V

You can do a lot with DisplayFusion (software) for multi-screen setups I really like it for my dual-screens :)

Graphics Card, AMD 7950 or Nvidia 660Ti?

As far I know from browsing these forums, 1600MHz will be equally good for RAM. You probably wouldn't notice the speed difference anyway with anything faster. 1600 might even be a little cheaper than 2400...

Home remodel - what cable to run?

I'm no expert, but since cat5e has gigabit speeds, shouldn't that be enough for a home network with a HTPC, NAS, etc... ? Cat6 just has room for more connections (bandwith?), but this should only become a problem in corporate scenario's I heared.

Hahaha... yeah. Just go Intel and you'll have plenty of onboard USB 3.0 options. Don't all Z77 motherboards have onboard these days?

Going to MC tomorrow to pick up a Define Mini....

I have the define mini and really like it. I'm using 2 Noctua 120mm fans in the front, connected to my motherboard. And the two fans that come with the case are used for exhaust at the back and top. With the included fan controller (up to 3 fans) it's very easy to slow the default fans down...
